Components:

Two pieces of bread, such as rye, whole wheat, sourdough, etc. as you choose


 3–4 turkey breast slices


 1/2 mashed avocado


 One piece of cheddar (or Swiss) cheese


 Spinach or lettuce?


 Two or three slices of tomatoes


 Optional red onion


 Mustard or mayonnaise, if desired


 Season with salt and pepper.

Directions:

For a little crunch, you can optionally toast the bread.


 On one piece of bread, spread avocado.  Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.


 Add the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion after the turkey.


 If using, spread mustard or mayo on the other piece of bread.


 Combine everything, cut in half, and savour!
